The AIDS epidemic is leaving a wake of destruction and making many children increasingly vulnerable and orphaned. If we do not respond to this crisis, in an appropriately planned way, using a well researched, wholistic and integrated approach… thousands of children will continue to die isolated and alone, from conditions that are treatable and in most cases preventable. Habitat for Humanity’s “OVC” (Orphan and Vulnerable Children) program in Mozambique is used as an illustrative example and sample of a successful partnership approach to a rapidly growing challenge/problem.
